var intro         = 'Sunday 28th This was our last league cross country event of the season and what a performance we gave! Firstly the conditions were pretty dire due to weather conditions. It was all very well Tony Green texting me on the morning of the event to wish everyone Good Luck and saying he was toast mastering a wedding IN THE DRY! He does like to make a point! But in true Strider style this did not deter our runners and they all performed well. They came home extremely wet and muddy but in one piece we are thankful to say. The final result was brilliant as we were third on the day which meant we held our 4th place overall sending us to the final in Derby on March 21st.<br>Well done to all who ran or supported our runners on this extremely wet morning. Thank you to Chris McLaren who organised all the paperwork and to Helen, Ivor and Gill for their help with tickets and clothing baskets. ';
