The Barrels is putting on some food for us from 8:00pm after our runs (Monday Night Social 5K and 8K Runs/Walks). Please confirm attendance on Spond (when it becomes available) so we can pass numbers onto them.
A 30 minutes out and 30 minutes back run, or walk, all starting together and finishing together. This will start from Starbucks at Gipsy Lane retail park and we will head along the cycle path, towards/past Eric, and back to Starbucks for a well earned drink and chat. Let's turn the cycle path Striders Red.
A chatty social run either 5km or 8km which will end with a chat and a coffee. All paces welcome. We will start at Costa Bramingham (on the A6 near Homebase) at 930am and run along the cycle path to Leagrave McDonalds, aiming to finish about 1030am back at Costa for a drink and chat. The month’s social falls on ‘Blue Monday’, fabled to be the most depressing day of the year. Whilst any day can be a bad day, Blue Monday is a great opportunity to talk about mental health and check in with each other. Please wear BLUE if you can and bring food for the buffet and/or change for the club charity.
