March 2020 – Chairmans comments

I was pleased to see such a good turnout at the Presentation Evening, and I hope that everyone who attended had an enjoyable night. I trust you will all join with me in congratulating everyone who had their hard work recognised. Thank you also to everyone who worked very hard to organise the evening.

Can I please remind you all to enter all of your races and finish times on the results sheets on club nights, and not just the PB’s, as all of these are taken into account in awarding Strider of the Month and the annual awards.

The recent inclement weather unfortunately resulted in the cancellation of various local races, including our own Stopsley Challenge. Thank you for your support for this decision, as whilst it was, of course, a source of great disappointment to those who had entered, the race organisers had spent many months planning this event.
