Stopsley Striders Newsletter – November 2022
The new committee would like to express its thanks to last year’s committee members who all did a fantastic job in taking the club through a successful year, we will do our best to carry on with the good work. We have already started to plan the year ahead so would like to share with you some key dates.

Kate will be hosting the first Run/Talk of the year, again the details will be posted on Spond.
Boxing Day Run
Traditionally a ’30 minutes out, 30 minutes back’ run or walk down the cycle path so we all start and finish together, followed by coffee at Starbucks.

We will be hosting the league meeting on the 15 January 2023 and Charles is busy organising the final details. We will need lots of help on the day to welcome the 350 runners to the event in terms of parking attendants, marshals, catering etc. We need as many of you as possible, so please keep the day free and we can put on an event we can be proud of!

These races have age category 1st, 2nd and 3rd Certificates for all age categories.

Stopsley Challenge 2023
Subject to venue confirmation we aim to bring back this hugely popular multi distance training run this year. We are looking at 26 February or 5 March 2023, fitting in nicely with other races and will keep you posted when we have more news.
